Women's empowerment is to promote women's sense of self-worth, their to determine their own choices, and their right to influence social change for themselves and others and this all is possible only when they become independent. Being independent means that she is not depending on anyone financially and become master of her own will. Empowering women involves granting them tools, opportunities, and autonomy. Economic empowerment through education and entrepreneurship is crucial. Education plays a pivotal role in women's empowerment. Umeed NGO has taken following steps toward the said cause: Vocational studies center We provide trainings to women, young girls and low literate girls. Many vocational studies center are opened in order to make them skilled and with the skills they can be financially independent. These vocational studies centers impart skills about parlour course, beautician, sewing, cutting& tailoring, designing, knitting, Basic English, basic IT etc. to them. The courses are divided into basic and advance curriculum so that it will be easier to understand. These courses do not require high educational background. STITCHING CLASS TEST Basic courses do not require any education, even an 29 illiterate can do them as they are purely skill based and for advance course some degree of literacy is required and till they complete their basic course we provide them remedial classes so that they can complete their advance course also. Same methods are followed in all courses whether they are stitching course, beautician course or any other course.
